Sign in and first run
Sign in to eode, choose how you'll use it the first time, and know what each sign-in page means and what to do about it.
Where: Any eode link→your sign-in provider
eode has no password screen of its own. Open any eode link and you go to your organization's sign-in page; sign in there and you land on the screen the link pointed at. The first time, eode asks how you'll use it and starts a short guided tour.
Sign in
- Open eode, or any link to a screen in it.
- Sign in on your organization's sign-in page. Which methods it offers (company sign-in, email, a social account) is set up for your organization, not in eode.
- You land on the screen the link pointed at.
If you're already signed in on the eode website (eode.ai) in the same browser, you go straight through.
A link keeps its target through sign-in, query and all. A link to anything inside a model
(/models/…) also opens that model in the header. Links to a workspace or a workflow run open that
screen without opening its model; pick one from the model switcher.
Access is by invitation. An organization owner or admin invites you by email; see Organization.
Choose how you'll use eode
The first time you sign in, eode opens How will you use this? It asks you to pick the card closest to your work:

Analyst is selected when the dialog opens. Pick a card and click Continue. Esc and clicks outside the dialog do nothing.
The choice is called your persona. It sets your Home greeting and layout, whether eode offers you model-building buttons, and how RIA words its answers. It never hides a rail item, a screen or a command. What each persona changes is on Roles and personas.
The dialog appears once per account. Closing it with ✕ (Dismiss for now) also ends it for good, and you keep Analyst. Your choice is saved with your account, and eode has no setting to change it afterwards.
See where you land the first time
Continue takes you to a starting screen and starts a guided tour right away:

The tour's card points at one control at a time and never blocks the page. Click Skip or ✕ to stop it. To run it again, or the other one, use Guidance in Page settings.
Fix a sign-in that doesn't open eode
Instead of eode, you may see one of these pages. None of them has the rail or the header.

Know when you're signed out
- Removed from your organization. When an admin removes you, eode signs you out on your next action. If that doesn't reach you, you're signed out within about 5 minutes anyway. Signing in again shows Your account is not in an organization.
- Signed out on purpose. See below.
Sign out
Click your initials at the top right of the header, then Sign out. eode ends your session with your sign-in provider too, and opens the eode website, eode.ai. The menu is described on Find your way around.
Sign out is also the button on the Your account is not in an organization and Your membership could not be completed yet pages.
Limits
- How will you use this? appears once per account.
- eode retries twice before it shows the can't-be-reached page, waiting at most 5 seconds each time.
- After a removal, you're signed out within about 5 minutes.
- Invitations expire after 7 days; see Organization.
